| Electronic Ballasts |
| The electronic ballast (included in all Magnum Sun beds)
provides an exponential leap forward in efficiency and
reliability. Over a 5 year period, the Magnum Sun electronic
ballast can save you up to $6,300 in operational costs
compared to the traditional choke ballast (see
comparison chart). Additional benefits of electronic
ballasts include longer lamp and ballast life, improved UV
output, lower maintenance, installation, and energy costs, and
reduced radiated heat which improves customer comfort. |

| Advanced RUVA Bulbs |
| This
technological innovation in lamps has been one of the most significant
advances in indoor tanning history. RUVA lamps are painted inside the bulb
to squeeze and focus the tanning rays directly toward the tanner, thereby
eliminating the reflective loss of having to bounce tanning rays off of the
aluminum reflectors. This advancement dramatically increases the
output of the lamps. |
| Magnum Sun RUVA lamps
are unique. They are manufactured with 210 degree coatings, as
compared with the industry standard "half" [180 degree] coating. The
increased coatings squeeze and better focus the rays for even greater lamp
output. |
